Hello, I'm Karen - a CBT therapist who believes deeply in the power of feeling truly heard.
Like many people, I haven't travelled through life untouched by stress, loss, change, or emotional overwhelm. These experiences shape who I am as a therapist - grounded, calm, warm, open, and committed to meeting people exactly where they are.
My primary qualification is in evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), but I believe no single approach fits every person or every situation. That's why I also integrate a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of real people with real, complex lives.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, suicidal thoughts, OCD, phobias, anger, trauma, relationship difficulties and emotional overload. My role is to help you understand what's going on beneath the surface and walk alongside you as you build clarity, resilience and balance.

Outside the therapy room, I'm someone who finds grounding and joy in the simple things. I love walking my dog, Freya - she's gentle, intuitive, joyful and brings so much richness to my life. You'll see pictures of her throughout my website, not as a distraction, but because she's part of how I stay connected, balanced and present. I bring that same grounded presence into my therapy work. Warmth. Realness. Compassion. A genuine belief that people can heal and grow when they are supported, seen and understood. Therapy is not something that happens to you - it's something we build together. I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

Bookings & Pricing
Appointments are available during the day and evening.
Each appointment costs £50.00 for a 50-minute session. A hybrid session of talking therapy and Reiki costs £75.00 for 1. 5 hours.
Concessions may be available, so please ask if you think you may be eligible. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer.
Cancellation Fee: All appointments require a minimum 48-hour cancellation period to avoid a 50% fee charge. Cancellations made thereafter will require full payment.
